DIS Capital is a general investment company under local law, managed by a team of experienced professionals. Philippe Marseguerra oversees on-site operations, while Mr. Peter Hottinger is responsible for risk management, and Mr. Margot handles international legal matters. This company specializes in mining investments, particularly in gold and diamonds, as well as their exportation. It also has a significant agricultural division, particularly in the field of cocoa. DIS Capital makes various investments in the energy sector and also undertakes large projects in the resort industry. Additionally, the company is involved in the creation of a combat sports federation for the youth of Sierra Leone.

Philippe Marseguerra

Philippe Marseguerra, finished his education with a degree in urban planning in the city of Lyon, then joined the French army a few months after graduation, where he stayed 7 years in a parachutist battalion. This experience allowed him to build strong and trusting relationships with mining families and his love for Africa opened the doors to the commodities business with large global institutions especially in sourcing, mine audits, local purchasing and export. Worked 2 years at the United Nations Geneva.

Peter Hottinger

Peter Hottinger has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked for several firms in Switzerland. He began his career in 2009 with H&H Partners SA, a boutique asset management family office, where he gained experience in AML/compliance, KYC/due diligence, risk management, relationship management, and cross-border analysis. In 2010, he was part of the team that set up La Compagnie Financier Rodolphe Hottinger SA, a Geneva-based securities dealer that served as a custodial platform for third-party asset managers specializing in US business. In 2016, He moved on to Pilotage Private Wealth AG, a Swiss-based, SEC-registered independent asset management and multi-family office, where they served as COO/CFO/CCO/board member. In this role, they were responsible for AML/compliance, rewriting policies and procedures to meet new regulatory changes, trade monitoring, cash flow and P&L management, and more. They also presented compliance and operational reports to the board and analyzed internal business operations for cost-cutting. He also served as a director and CFO for Pilotage Private Office AG, a Swiss-based firm specialized in providing tax, structuring, and legal advice, and as a board director with Quantum Fort AG, a management services company based in Pfaffikon SZ. In addition to his work in the financial services industry, he served in the Swiss Army from 2010-2017, as a soldier. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Manhattanville College, International Advanced Certificate in compliance & Financial Crime (ICA), and Certificate Compliance Officer Specialist Tax Compliance (VisionCompliance). He will be further be following the AFCE association of certified fraud examiners that he intends to obtain in 2024. They are a native English speaker and fluent in French.
