The earth is not this marbled blue ball, cold and frozen. It is dynamic, constantly in motion and that is what crystalizes the carbon over time. Extreme conditions of temperature and pressure shape it, sometimes cavities form inside the chrystals creating colored diamonds, brown, pink, green, yellow or blue with a multitude of color variations resulting from them. But in very rare occasions the red colored diamond appears.
If a diamond manages to withstand the titanic heat and precision of the earth’s bowels for 2 billion years, it still has to survive its journey to the surface… an explosive, violent journey that only the most solid materials can accomplish. If a diamond manages to reach the surface, it becomes almost impossible to destroy.
Thanks to the circumstances of its conception, this impossible bet which conditions its birth and its survival, the diamond then became invulnerable and therefore it is eternal.
What attracts us to our profession is not the allure of glamor…our only motivation is to admire the effect that diamonds have on people. The diamond is an ally, it carries us towards our victories and at the precise moment when we look at it exercises its power of seduction, it captivates you and becomes a part of you and this for all time.
